New CD:   JOURNAL

Nerida has worked together with producer, Rory Ellis, to record an album which portrays the varied seasons of human relationships and emotions, focussed on the journey through grief.  The ten original songs are raw and real: celebrating the good gifts of family, nature and the comfort of God; as well as wrestling with the pain of loss, loneliness and brokenness.

A handful of well-known musos have added texture to the tapestry:  Stuart Speed on upright bass, Dave Steel on mandolin, accordian, dobro & percussion, Dave Gleeson (Rivertribe) on native American flute and violin, and Candy Edwards (Myrr) on djembe.

JOURNAL was released in March 2003. "Grief" (track 4) is available free with the following link.

"Nerida is a true folkie, with raw acoustic songs telling stories of life in all its vast richness; full of joy, sadness, laughter, suffering and hope. Her stuff can be theological or emotional, always delivered with an open heart. She is a communicator of real substance…"
Martin Fawkes, ACAN Vice President
